Instituto da Infância (Childhood Institute) - IFAN - Is a non-profit association, established in the year 1999, with headquarters in Fortaleza (CE), and an operation office in São Luís (MA), and operates in five states of the northeastern region in Brazil(Maranhão, Piauí, Ceará, Rio Grande do Norte e Paraíba).

Mission:To produce and disseminate innovative knowledges on childhood in Northeastern Brazil.

Vision: To become a center of information on topics of childhood in Northeastern of Brazil.
